Chances are, your tablesaw’s arbor washer is made of stamped metal. Unlike the machined-metal washer that’s permanently mounted to your saw’s arbor, the stamped metal may not be perfectly flat. This can lead to unnecessary vibration in your saw blade. Here’s an easy fix. Tape some 120-grit sandpaper on a flat surface.Your cast iron saw table should work fine. Sand the washer until all the high spots are removed (see inset). Now your washer will make complete contact with the saw blade.Few tablesaw enhancements are as easy and cheap as this!
