Vertical Panel Clamping

Gluing panels and other large assemblies vertically saves floor space and is easier on your back—you don’t have to carry anything. Make the crossbar from 1/2-in. pipe and attach it securely to the wall. 3/4-in. pipe tees slide along the pipe. Thread the ends of 3/4-in. pipe-clamps into the tees, as shown. After tightening the hanging clamps, add additional clamps between them on the opposite side of the panel.
