Tool News - Irwin Quick-Grip XP600

RATE THIS:

Irwin just announced the upgraded one-handed bar clamp, the Quick-Grip XP600.  The XP600 has an I-beam bar that delivers up to 600 lbs. of hold force, perfect for bigger assembly jobs. The new adjustable foot allows the XP600 to rest upright on the work surface for gluing – perfect for panels and cabinetry.  In addition, the full face pads distribute pressure evenly.  Remove the pads to activate the swivel jaw feature that clamps to irregular surfaces while maintaining consistent pressure.   The quick change screw allows you to convert from a clamp to a spreader. These clamps are available at home centers, retail hardware stores and online retailers in 6”, 12”, 18”, 24”, 36” and 50” lengths. Depending on the length of the clamp, the suggested retail price will vary from $19.99 - $44.99.
