Contractor Saw

The 10 in. Craftsman Contractor Table Saw features a 1 ¾ hp continuous duty induction motor. The all-metal construction of the saw provides durability and stability when working. The table saw also includes a precision machined cast iron trunnion and table, steel stand, legs and extensions, aluminum rails and rip fence.  The table saw has tool free adjustments to set the riving knife to three positions for high profile, low profile and non-through cuts. It also comes with a fence system, carbide tipped blade, miter gauge, standard blade table insert, dado table insert, push stick, and includes storage for each accessory on the saw.

The 10 in. Craftsman Contractor Table Saw also incorporates some great safety features, including anti-kick back pawls for through cuts and a left tilting blade that angles away from the fence to provide safer bevel and miter cuts. The saw also has a blade guard system that has an adjustable riving knife that raises and lowers in tandem with the blade. The four swivel castors on two elevation levers allow the saw to be easily moved from the work area and back to storage with ease.

Hybrid Saw

The 10 in. Craftsman Professional Premium Hybrid Table Saw has a granite table and extension wings, measuring 10 in. x 27 in. The granite surface provides a hard, flat surface, minimizing friction for easy material handling.  Unlike cast iron, granite won’t rust and its weight helps to keep the table stable and absorb vibration.  The saw comes with the new Craftsman fence which makes is easy to slide and adjustable for accuracy.

The 10 in. Craftsman Professional Premium Hybrid Table Saw has tool free adjustments to set the riving knife to three positions for high profile, low profile and non-through cuts. Its precision machined cast iron trunnion is mounted to the cabinet to ensure perfect blade alignment, increased stability and ease of adjustment. Since the trunnion is not mounted on the table, it keeps the vibration away, adding more stability and smoothness. The saw also comes with a carbide tipped blade, miter gauge, standard blade table insert, dado table insert and push stick. It also has a blade guard system that has an adjustable riving knife that raises and lowers in tandem with the blade, and a push button arbor lock which allows the user to change the blade quickly and safely with one wrench.

Hello,

When will these saws hit the market? Do you have model numbers for them?

Never mind - found info, except for model numbers, and press release didn't have them. I like the prices compared to saws of other companies with similar features. Granite top for around $1000? Can't complain about that.
